People and Culture Policy
As Enerjisa Üretim Santralleri A.Ş. and all subsidiaries (“Enerjisa Üretim”, “The
Company”), we recognize that our people are our greatest asset in our successful
and sustainable journey. We value everyone who contributes to the Company's
performance and corporate culture, and we strive to create opportunities for their
development by focusing on our employees. As we generate energy for a better
future by respecting life, we also aim to strengthen our leadership in energy trading
with new international expansions, create different growth areas with digital
services, and create value in the pursuit of excellence. As Enerjisa Üretim, we are
aware that building a business model that respects human rights is a rising priority
for our employees, stakeholders, shareholders, clients, consumers, communities
that we operate in, and non-governmental organizations. Therefore, we consider
ensuring protection of human rights with our internal practices and business
processes, creating suitable workplaces for human dignity, and observing the
presence of same attention in our value chain as a duty of global citizenship.
This People and Culture Policy (“Policy”) is a set of principles that manifests the
sensitivity and vision, efforts, and continuous improvement objective of Enerjisa
Üretim in terms of People and Culture and is developed in line with our vision and
mission and implemented to support our strategic business plans, which is expected
to be observed by all executives, employees, and stakeholders.
In this regard, as Enerjisa Üretim, we carry out our People and Culture strategy
under the following basic policies:
Diversity and Inclusion
- We create an inclusive work environment that reinforces diversity, equal
opportunities, and participation, and we conduct open, transparent, and highly
interactive communication management. We observe diversity and inclusion in
all processes experienced by our employees, particularly areas such as gender
equality, equal opportunity, recruitment and rating, leadership, personal rights
and working conditions, and performance management.
- We do not consider personal characteristics or preferences such as gender, age,
race, nationality, political opinion, religion/belief, language, ethnic origin,
marital status, sexual orientation, disability, or union affiliation for recruitment
decisions, terminations, compensation, training, and award management.
- We consider women as an integral part of the business model and growth
targets of our Company. We pay attention to being an egalitarian and inclusive
Company where women participate equally, away from discrimination,
selecting our suppliers from such companies. We believe that respecting
women’s rights and participation of women in economic life is a priority. In this business, gender has no bearing; everyone's contribution is valued equally,
reflecting our commitment to long-term success.
Respect and Fair Treatment
- We commit to preserving and respecting the fundamental rights and freedoms
of our employees. Every employee of ours has the freedom to express
themselves and their needs as a member of the Üretim Collective without fear
of discrimination or retaliation, the right to establish or join employee
organizations, become a member of a union, or engage in collective bargaining.
We embrace the diversity of our workforce and respect our employees'
preferences to participate in these activities. We inform and train our
employees and executives about human rights policy, receive opinions of its
employees, clients, and stakeholders about the policy; guarantee ensuring or
collaborating for fair and reasonable improvement and development in case of
violation, and strive to eliminate negative consequences of any fundamental
human right violation and make improvements in this regard. We comply with
the labour law and all legislation regulating working life. We treat our
employees in a fair, non-discriminatory, and equal opportunity manner.
- We adhere to the principle of fairness and equal opportunity in all aspects of
employment, including working conditions, appointments/promotions,
remuneration (including fringe benefits), discipline, and dismissal. We also
follow the 'equal pay for equal work' approach.
- We take all necessary measures to prevent and detect all forms of harassment
and abuse, including sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation, and violence.

- We do not employ child labour below the legal limit or forced labour.
- Personal data of our employees are kept in compliance with the Law No. 6698
on the Protection of Personal Data, Labour Law, Social Security, and all other
relevant legislation.

performance evaluation period, we ensure that each employee has a one-on-one
meeting with their manager to receive feedback. This process is conducted for
all our employees and closely monitored. Following the period, we release a
Performance Efficiency Survey to gather feedback to make the next cycle more
efficient.

Responsibilities, Implementation, and Monitoring
This policy covers all employees within the impact area of Enerjisa Üretim,
executive personnel in all business units, our stakeholders. In addition, this Policy
is an integral part of the sustainability approach of Enerjisa Üretim and the
Compliance Manual.
